I have felt all along that the whole sleep-over motif of the movement was self-defeating, because the tent cities lent themselves to criminality and filth. Tea party protests have been famously well ordered and litter free which enhanced the credibility of the protesters. I might have been more impressed by the occupy movement if they were able to come back day after day, but leave their environment in, well, a green condition.
