Obama was in Asia this week. Here is a picture of him with the Emperor of Japan:
Later, he was asked about Hiroshima and Nagasaki and whether he thought those bombings were the right decision. View his answer here.
I have read a lot of commentary, but have little to add, this stuff just speaks for itself. I note however, that the TOTUS isn't available during press conferences.
Jumpin' Jupiter, I can just imagine the little cupcake grovelling and apologizing his way through Nagasaki. And what's with him always looking down his nose at people? The tilt of his head at the beginning makes him look like an arrogant prick.
ReplyDeleteNo surprise there.
In any case, here was the proper reply, quoting one of their own.
Isoroku Yamamoto is credited with saying, after the attack on Pearl Harbor, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."
Being the pendulum 'Dawg, I have always said Obama is what (not who) our country needs.
ReplyDeleteApologetics, economic fascism, (lifted from Mr. Cat's most excellent post), czars, providing constitutional rights to terrorists, now looking for an exit strategy for Afghanistan..ect
Our rights, liberties, freedoms, and our prosperity have been slowly been eroded. And the McCain's, Bush's and Bob Dole's on the "so called" Right, have barely been sandbags to the erosion.
Maybe the Fox News vs Obama admin was the first clue for the MSM.
Obama is the "Pearl Harbor" to wake the sleeping giant.
Mr. Liberatorator,
ReplyDeleteHow come you don't comment on your comments? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I read posts all the time, but only have time to comment occasionally.
I wish I had time to keep up with Mr. Cat, Ms. Fier, Ms. Lipstick and Harrison but it's always nice to hear from Mr Liberator when I finally catch up and comment!
How about all the "weekend chills"? Whose loins did you spring from anyway? With a few exceptions, most of it sounds like Boy George had a dream about.......nevermind, this is a family blog.
Anyway, love your blog, keep it up. Just because people don't comment, doesn't mean they're not reading. But it helps if you respond!
KT, Dawg,
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting. I usually respond to the comments, except on the music, but lately I have been barely able to keep up a reasonable blog output, much less respond.
With regards to Obama, I agree that we are seeing a reaction to his leftism that is good for the nation. My fear is that he will do permanent damage with the health care fiasco. As I have earlier opined, health care is the one thing that won't be easily undone. All of the other crap can be undone, even crap and tax.
With respect to the music, I have eclectic tastes, witness the most recent weekend music, "The Battle Hymn of the Republic." Highly fitting, given the history of the name of this blog.
