"We Didn't Want to See Him Die in Prison" - UPDATE

The spineless scum, pictured at left are David Miliband and Gordon Brown, the UK's FM and PM, respectively. They are under fire for allegedly influencing Scottish authorities to release the PanAm Flight 103 bomber, Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed. In a recent article, Miliband stated:
"We did not want him to die in prison, no, we weren't seeking his death in prison,"
I have a news flash for you fine gents. Killers of innocents die in prison. It's what they deserve, it's the least you can do for the families of the victims of the Lockerbie bombing.

This is almost more disgusting than allegations that it was an oil deal, which I could at least understand. This killer deserves compassion? In fact, he was given compassion, in that he was not hung from the neck until dead. After that, all bets are off.

UPDATE

Dean has linked to an article by Thomas Sowell that is far more eloquent than I can be in my current angry stench over this appalling injustice. The money quote is from Adam Smith:
“Mercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent.”

  1. B-Daddy, I agree. at least there would be some craven pragmatism in a killer for oil deal.

Attempting to take the moral high ground by saying you did not want the guy to die in jail results in the exact opposite.
